Steamed Chicken with Winter Melon and Cordyceps Flower | Simple Home-Style Dish Recipe
Step 1

Chop the chicken into pieces and marinate for 15 minutes (using simple oyster sauce, soy sauce, oil, salt, cornstarch, and pepper). I couldn't find fresh cordyceps flowers, so I soaked and washed dried ones. Cut the winter melon into slightly thicker slices.
Step 2

Winter melon as a base, then cordyceps flowers and chicken mixed together and spread on top.
Step 3

Bring water to a boil, then steam for 15-18 minutes (the exact time depends on the age of the chicken).
Step 4

It's done!
Step 5

It will naturally produce broth, which is absolutely delicious when poured out and mixed with rice.
