Steps for making stir-fried cabbage and wood ear mushrooms (one of 100 home-style dishes)

Wash the cabbage leaves, cut them in half lengthwise, and then cut them into pieces.

Cut as shown in the picture and set aside.

Wash and soak the wood ear mushrooms. Blanch them in boiling water for five minutes beforehand. (Blanching is essential for wood ear mushrooms.) Then drain them.

Heat oil in a wok, sauté chopped green onions, minced ginger, and minced garlic, then add five-spice powder and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add the cabbage and stir-fry until softened.

Add the wood ear mushrooms and continue stir-frying for about 3 minutes.

Add light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and white vinegar, and stir-fry evenly. If it tastes a little bland, add a little salt.

After the wood ear mushrooms are cooked, remove them from the pan.
