I received the additive-free tomato sauce from Heinz. I had to make all the dishes we usually eat at home and take pictures. Today the kids wanted beef, so I made tomato beef brisket. The only seasonings used were Heinz tomato sauce, a little salt, and cornstarch slurry. No other seasonings were needed. The kids ate it all.

Braised Beef Brisket with Heinz Tomato Sauce [A Simple Dish That Anyone Can Make] - Recipe Steps

The beef is ready.

Wash the beef and blanch it.

Blanched beef. Prepare chopped tomatoes, carrots, and onions as side dishes.

Just a tiny bit of oil is enough. Add two cloves of garlic, minced, and stir-fry the beef together. If you don't like garlic, you can omit it. But if you do like garlic, definitely add it! It will make the aroma richer and more intense.

Stir-fry the beef, carrots, onions, and minced garlic together. About a minute is enough.

Add the peeled tomatoes and stir-fry briefly.

Now for the main ingredient: Heinz tomato sauce, squeezed into the pan.

More makes it taste better. Add Heinz tomato sauce and stir-fry evenly.

Stir-fry it.

Add 800ml of boiling water. I specifically checked the measuring cup to tell you the exact amount of water. Adding two 400ml containers of boiling water makes exactly 800ml.

A pot of red sauce. Stir it.

Add salt ๐ง. 8-10 grams is generally enough. Everyone's taste is different, so you can add a little less. After reducing the sauce, taste it and add more if needed. Heinz tomato sauce is already salty enough.

Cover and simmer directly. I didn't make a large batch of tomato beef brisket today. I didn't use a pressure cooker; I simmered it directly in a cast iron pot, which also acts as a slight pressure cooker. The whole process took 45 minutes. First, simmer on low heat for 25 minutes, then on medium-high heat for 20 minutes to reduce the sauce.

Add a little starch.

Add some chemicals and keep it on hand for later use.

This is what it looks like after simmering for 45 minutes. The water in the pot has shrunk down to this little bit at the bottom.

Pour in the prepared cornstarch slurry and stir-fry evenly.

Once the sauce has thickened and started simmering, it's done! All done, that's it.

This braised beef brisket with Heinz tomato sauce is a perfect, all-around dish. We're having rice today ๐. And it has to be something a rice lover would never throw away, no matter how much they slap them ๐คญ.

The plate I used to take the picture was a bit too small. This overflowing tomato and beef brisket looks absolutely delicious!

Come on, everyone. ๐ฅณ

I'm eating some more. One bite and it's absolutely delicious ๐.

Then I ate rice with tomato and beef brisket. I opened my mouth wide and took a bite. Wow, it was so delicious I could cry!

Just a simple rice bowl. The kid ate all of it โ a pot of tomato and beef stew with three bowls of rice.

It's incredibly delicious.
