There are so many kinds of snacks nowadays, and children often have poor digestive systems from eating them since they are young. How about a bowl of yam, corn and pork rib soup that nourishes the spleen and stomach and is rich in protein? It has few ingredients and is pure broth with its original flavor.

Steps for making 100 home-style dishes: Yam, corn, and pork rib soup

I bought the yams in a box from a hot pot ingredient store; after cutting them open, there were less than 20 small pieces.

The corn was also bought in a box from a hot pot ingredient store, as shown in the picture above.

Wash the pork ribs, put them in a pot of cold water, add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 3-4 sections of scallion and 2-3 slices of ginger. After the water boils, continue to cook for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Heat a pot, add a little oil, then add some chopped green onions (mine were chopped a bit too big) and ginger slices to sauté. Add the ribs and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes. Add hot water to cover the ribs, about half full. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Add corn and red dates and simmer for another 15 minutes. Then add yam and goji berries, along with salt and 2 grams of chicken bouillon, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Taste the soup and add salt to taste. A bowl of nourishing pork rib soup is ready!
