This was my first time making garlic ribs. It's simpler and easier than braised ribs, and most importantly, it smells amazing!

Steps for making garlic pork ribs (one of 100 home-style dishes)

No need to wash the ribs first. Prepare about 80 grams of flour, coat the ribs with flour and knead for 1-2 minutes. Flour has strong absorption power.

Wash the ribs thoroughly after coating them in flour, 2-3 times, to remove the flour.

Drain the water from the pork ribs, add four slices of ginger, minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 3 grams of white pepper powder, 4 grams of five-spice powder, and 5 grams of salt, and mix well.

Wrap the marinated ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours. The longer the refrigeration time, the more flavorful the ribs will be.

After removing the ribs from the oil, coat them generously with cornstarch. Pour oil into a pan, about 3/4 full above the ribs, and heat it to 60-70% of its maximum temperature. Add the ribs and fry over low heat until golden brown on both sides. Turn them frequently while frying.

After frying, remove them from the oil and then fry them again for half a minute on each side to make them even crispier. Drain the oil and sprinkle with some barbecue seasoning. Wow, the first bite is so crispy and fragrant, the taste is really amazing!
