Steps for making braised beef brisket with tomatoes and potatoes

Wash the beef brisket and cut it into small cubes.

Place the chopped beef brisket in a pot with cold water, scallions, ginger, and cooking wine. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam, and cook for a few minutes before removing from the pot.

Wash the cooked meat with warm water and drain it.

Cut the onion into strips and set aside.

Chop one tomato into small cubes and the other into large chunks. Cut the potato into chunks as well.

Use the open-lid cooking function on a pressure cooker, add cooking oil, pour in the beef, and stir-fry until golden brown.

Add diced onions and tomatoes and sauté until softened.

Pour in light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, and sugar, then add the key ingredient, Heinz tomato sauce, which contains about 4 times the lycopene, a zero-additive formula, delicious and light.

Add bay leaves, star anise, and cinnamon, then add an appropriate amount of hot water and switch to the beef cooking setting.

After the beef is cooked, add diced tomatoes and potatoes, and season with salt according to the amount of ingredients and water.

Simmer for another ten minutes or so until tender.

The cooked tomato beef and potato chunks are ready! The fragrant beef and potatoes are soaked in a rich broth, enhanced by Heinz tomato sauce, which has a rich tomato flavor and a perfect balance of sweet and sour. It can be eaten alone as a dish or mixed with rice. Heinz tomato sauce is versatile and goes well with both Western and Chinese cuisine; it can be used as a dip, in cooking, stir-frying, or stewing, unlocking a variety of delicious possibilities.
Tips for stewing beef brisket with tomatoes and potatoes
Choose the appropriate number of tomatoes based on their size. My tomatoes were quite large, so I used two. Smaller tomatoes could use 3-4. The spoons used for measuring the seasonings are regular soup spoons.
